I can't believe this one post blog thing got so many comments.

I know the story is fictional, but it pretends to have basis in facts, such as the artwork and the Priory of Sion, which isn't true. In fact, the book makes some pretty laughable errors, beginning even with the title. "The Da Vinci Code?" Does anyone here realize that Leonardo's name was not da Vinci? That was the town he was from. That's like calling me "of California". Come on people. And the Priory of Sion? It's definitely real. But the problem is that it was founded in 1956 by a right-wing cult group in France. Did Leonardo invent time travel as well? And as for Opus Dei, there ARE NO MONKS in it. It's 98% lay people, marries, non-clerical Catholics. No monks. No bishops.

Even though the book is fiction, these are some little things that most people might not pick up on, but just assume to be true. It's also offensive because it portrays the Catholic Church as an enemy of the truth. And even the foriegn language translations are wrong. Bishop Aringarosa's name is supposed to mean "red herring" in Italian. It really means Pink Herring. And they say "mon nom est" to mean my name is, rather than the correct "j'amepple". He obviously went to a cheap online translator that translated it word-by-word.

The worst part is that it's all our fault. The book is so poorly written, and it would never have been so successful if the church hadn't given it so much publicity.

I'm awesome, as you can tell. I wrote all that myself and did not plagerize like Brown at all. It is true though, I read a lot of anti-code stuff. Go to my blog everyone.

I've got an idea: peopl say the Catholic Church is so strict. Maybe I should start an internet rumor that Dan's writing his next book about Mohommed. That would take care of Dan Brown in about a week.

I don't know what prostitutes have to do with this. I'm pretty sure the church NEVER labeled Mary Magdelene as a prostitute, the only one who ever did was Mel Gibson, just as a metaphor to show that Jesus really cared for her. He used a famous miracle that involved a prostitute and made her the same actress as St. Mary's. And I, can't speak for all of you, but I think there's obviously something wrong with Dan's research if he cites Mel Gibson as "The Vatican." What a confused guy.

And even though I can't speak for everyone, there's some things that can. They're called FACTS. They're proven true. And I know a few of them. For example, when Dan says the Dead Sea Scrolls are the earliest Christian documents and contain the truth about the Holy Grail, I can use a fact to say he's lying. The Dead Sea Scrolls were Jewish documents that never even mentioned Jesus's name. See? It works every time.

If anyone needs any more about the Code, please visit my blog. The new post is all about it.
